Hannah Maldonado
Hannah Maldonado is a compassionate and dedicated cold capper serving the Denver, Colorado, oncology community. Her journey into cold capping began in the most personal way—when she trained as her mother’s cold cap therapist during her chemotherapy treatments in the spring of 2024. Through this experience, Hannah discovered her passion for helping others navigate the challenging process of hair preservation during cancer treatment.
In addition to her work as a cold capper, Hannah is a chef for First Descents, an inspiring non-profit organization that provides free adventure retreats for young adults impacted by cancer. Her work with First Descents has been life-changing, deepening her connection to the oncology community and inspiring her to expand her support beyond the kitchen.
Hannah’s firsthand understanding of the emotional and physical toll of treatment fuels her desire to be a source of comfort and encouragement. She is committed to being a positive presence in the lives of her clients, offering both technical expertise and heartfelt support during a difficult time.
Her warm demeanor, coupled with her unique blend of experience and dedication, makes Hannah a trusted partner for those embarking on their cold capping journey. She is honored to be part of a process that helps clients maintain a sense of normalcy and confidence as they focus on healing.
